In the following testimonial, we delve into the inspiring success story of a patient whose bilateral sciatica pain was effectively treated. Through their journey of healing and recovery, we witness firsthand the transformative impact of expert medical care and the unwavering dedication of a compassionate physician.

In the words of Patient, Mrs. Sobia Ali:

“A few years ago, I was diagnosed with sciatica pain and in the recent past, I had developed bilateral sciatica pain. I had extreme pain in my legs till my feet, and I could not stand for more than a few minutes. Walking had become a thing of the past for me.

Quality of life had become very discontented and underachieved, and I felt I would not be able to perform any smaller tasks, like even making a cup of tea. As I spoke to people regarding these issues, almost all had the opinion that I should not go for surgery, as there are multiple issues involved in surgery, like nerve damage and so on. Then I came across the name and credentials of the institute, which would change my life.

I visited BNI, which is short for Bashir NeuroSpine Institute. The checkups and medicines added to my physical betterment at the time, but since my issue was far advanced, it needed further insight. Dr. Asif Bashir had a look at the MRIs and x-rays, and they told the condition internally, which did not look good.

And so I was advised to have minimally invasive surgery done, or an MED, and I agreed to that surgery. As not only was the name of the Bashir legacy credible, but also all details regarding surgery and its before and after were explained thoroughly to me. From Dr. Asif’s neurological team, to the nursing staff and an anesthetical team, all personnel asked for minute and detailed history.

As I entered the operating room, I took a few seconds to look and praise the many hundreds of professional instruments which are used there. And on a lighter note, as I came to the post-op, I initially checked to see if my limbs were working, and why wouldn’t they be, Alhamdulillah.

And so I’d like to thank and give my gratitude to Dr. Asif Bashir and the amazing facility at which they are doing all this, and making these patients better.

It’s a state-of-the-art facility which is at par with any major international medical institution. I wish them an even more prosperous and enterprising future.”

And as they say,

“A compassionate doctor can bring healing not just through medicine, but through empathy, understanding, and genuine care.” – Unknown
